DEEPIKA VASUDEVAN

ABOUT ME

I’m an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cell Biology at the University of Pittsburgh since June 2021. Prior to that, I was postdoctoral fellow in Don Ryoo’s lab at the Skirball Institute of Biomolecular Medicine (at NYU School of Medicine) where I used genetics and molecular biology in flies and human cells to study stress biology. Over the years, my research has organically led me from the study of protein (mis)folding to how new protein synthesis is regulated during organismal development, health and disease and my current research reflects all these themes. Here is my CV.
